Almost-Universe
The Almost-World must be somewhere, and that would be an Almost-Universe, almost-naturally.
It is a place where everything is already almost something different. It is a place where things don't even get finished before they start to morph into something else. It is a place where everything is in transition.
It is a place where no thing and no person lives up to expectations.
It is a place where almost out-of-this-world stuff keeps getting invented.
It is a place that everyone remembers quite well, but no two people can completely agree on the nature of past events. (History is hard to know, because everybody tells it like it almost-was.)
Actually, it's a universe quite like this one.
