Almost-Green
There are many things that are either almost-green or almost "green." In an age when everything must be some kind of green in order to sell (for more green), it behooves us to be aware of how things can be only almost-green.
Types/Categories:
1. Greenish: Things close to green in color. (Green tea. Light green paint. Blue-green algae. Yellowish-green growths on your cheese.)
2. Almost-Organic: Regular food, and just mostly-healthy food. (Coffee with cream and sugar. A bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.)
3. Almost-Clean: Pollutes very little. (Any cleaning solvent so mild that you can buy it at a supermarket.)
4. Almost-Wimpy: Doesn't use as much energy as the gas-guzzling alternative. (Push lawnmower, motor scooter, jet-ski.)
Examples of things that are almost-green:
Greenish (will be more green).
Greenish.
Greenish (but partly some other colors).
An "almost-green collar" shirt for that almost-green job.
Almost-clean (part way to a bicycle). Since it is only part way to a Dodge RAM Pickup, it is also almost-wimpy.
Greenish (partly some other color).
Almost-clean (uses clean electricity that partly comes from the burning of fossil fuels).
Almost-organic.
Almost-organic.
Almost-organic (and partly suspect).
Greenish (transparent green).
Greenish.
Greenish (orange you glad I didn't say almost-orange).
Greenish (green plants made red grapes, ta-da).
Almost-organic (I wouldn't eat it).
Greenish (temporarily green on the outside).
Greenish.
Greenish (way too much yellow and gray).
Greenish.
Greenish (would be green if it wasn't for the blue filter on the lens).
Greenish (you can imagine that the red is green).
Almost-organic (mostly inorganic, and not edible). And not really green, even though this is a picture of trees.
Almost-organic, . . . and greenish.
Well, maybe.
