Things to Watch For . . .

The Almost-Speeches

Almost-speeches are speeches that are almost-given (away) and are almost-important enough to record:

The 2008 AP - A "Forward Looking" Speech

By: Max Buzzell

Date: 2008-02-25

Addressing the Almost-Party Ohio almost-delegates, other almost-participants, and as many lobbyists and Political Almost-Action Committee members as we could find.

Hey there, . . .

Howdy folks. You want to know why the chicken really crossed the street? Just to get to the other side. Ha-ha-ha-ha. Ahem. Ok, settle down.

People often ask me what the future is going to be like. And the first thing out of my mouth is usually a word-for-word recitation of the Almost-Party Almost-Agenda, thinking, of course, that the Almost-Party might actually seize control of power, . . . somewhere, . . . somehow. But when I'm greeted with blank stares (if the person has actually stuck around for all of it) I usually go into a more free-form exposition that goes something like this. (And the videos here will explain some of what I think since after I have watched them).

What's in Your Fridge?

Jai Guru Deva....Om

Yea! The more I think about it, . . . Well.

Tee hee.

Blah, blah, blah.

You know.

Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah. Blah, blah, blah.

Definitely. . . . Almost. Ha!

And last but not least, . . . Blah.

[Much applause]
