The Almost-Party
Like many political parties, the Almost-Party has an abundance of fairly fluid and virtually unassailable positions on most issues, and we also kinda like to almost-keep almost-up with the other parties as best we can (given the budget constraints, you understand). Like the other guys would say of themselves, it is of utmost consideration that we seem like we are listening to the people, and what's going on, etc., etc., . . . blah, blah, blah.
And here's how:
From the political Almost-Action Committee:
Individually, we almost-run (jog) for office.
Together, we follow the herd (wherever that takes us).
When the going gets wet, we still keep on jogging, and we think a lot about soaring with the eagles, . . . and the Cesnas.
It's usually a fairly good time to think about doing something maybe just slightly different.
Leaving space to the likes of Richard Branson, Elon Musk, the Chinese, and the French is probably ok for now.
Oh, yes, and the convention this year will be on a conference call. We will be posting the number and the security code soon. . . . If I can just find it. Where did it go? Have you seen it . . .
