Things to Watch For . . .

The Almost-Way

The following are some our favorite ways:

It is the almost-way to either almost-lead (not actually lead), almost-follow (not actually follow), or almost-get out of the way (hang around, and do fairly normal stuff).

If you have a way with words, that's almost as good as having a way with almost-words.

If there is a fork in the road, you can only almost-take the fork.

Only almost-all of the roads lead to Rome (some of the newer ones go other places).

To get out of the way, you must first be close to being in the way.

Follow your nose.

If you don't know where you are going, but you have a pretty good idea where you are going, go there, . . . and then ask.

When the going gets tough, there is usually a way to almost-skirt the problem areas.

Try various jiggery-pokery.

Where there's a whip, there's almost always a way.

Life is not so much about either the journey or the destination, it is about almost leaving, watching someone else go there on a travel show, and then just mowing the lawn or something.

Building bridges to nowhere, . . . ADMIRABLE! We encourage much more of this.

almost-worthwhile
